Global Run for Komera

Every year, The Komera Project hosts a global Run for Komera. We are currently building our events for 2012 and would love for you to participate!

In 2011, Curves for Change hosted a phenomenal event in New York City on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We celebrated girls education world wide with a 5km run along the water. We were joined by families, friends and pets! It looks like it is going to happen again in 2012 and we hope you will join us!

In 2012, Komera will host it’s 4th annual Girls Run in Rwanda! Do you want to join the team travelling from North America to Rwanda to take part in this amazing event? In addition to the run, supporters will visit local schools and the Partners In Health hospital in Rwinkwavu. For more information and to sign up please contact us at info@komeraproject.org.

Several schools have committed to Global Run for Komera fun runs: Students at the Green Vale School on Long Island, New York will again support Komera as well as two schools in Vancouver, BC – John Henderson Annex and Elsie Roy Elementary School.
